Deadly tribal clashes that has embarked on Friday afternoon in War-Shubo locality in Mudug region has claimed the lives of over 15 people and dozens other  wounded were admitted to hospitals for treatment.

The spokesman of Himan and Heb administration Areys Mohamed Haji distanced claims that some forces of  the administration took part in the clashes.

He underlined that the administration is ready to take an active role of easing the tensions between the clans in the region.

The clan clashes in the region are normally attributed to argument over grazing land and water wells by pastoral communities.
