Hiran governor returns home after attending new deal conference in Copenhagen

The governor of Hiran region Abdifatah Hassan Afrah has returned home after he attended the high level partnership forum on Somalia Copenhagen.

After touching down in Adan Adde international airport in Mogadishu, the governor gave details of developmental projects the international community pledged to implement in the region.

He stated that the international community promised to put into service eight developmental projects including constructions of markets, stadium, installations of solar powered street lights and construction of blocks to regulate the floods of river Shabelle.

Finally Mr. Afrah underlined that the international community is willing to assist Somalia in the fields of reconstruction and development especially Hiran region and urged the locals to unite for general interest.
