Hundreds demonstrate against the decision of Somaliland house elders

Reports from Tog-dheer region of the breakaway Somaliland indicate that hundreds of people took the streets of Bura’o to demonstrate against the decision of Somaliland house elders which approved 22 months of extension term for the government led by Mohamed Mohamud “Silaanyo” on Monday.
The demonstration is organized by National Party leaders and the protestors were chanting Allahu Akbar “ God is great” along streets and waved placards with their demands in a demonstration.
Somaliland’s police dismantled the protestors and blocked their way to the parts of the town, which eased the situation and return it to norm.
The Siilanyo’s government closed down the offices of National party and denied the party’s leaders to access their offices in that region.
