Infighting between Somali Soldiers leaves one dead in Middle Shebelle region of Somalia

At least one Somali military soldier killed and one civilian injured in Mahadaay  district of Hirshebble state on Sunday.

Junior Somali soldiers involved limited shooting against each other after verbal dispute on personal matters. Said one of the residents in Mahadai district.

The shooting which only lasted for minutes stopped after intervention by the military leaders in the district.

“One soldier killed after close shootout incident and one civilian injured in Mahadaay today after military fighting” said one of residents who opt not to be named.

Military leaders and Mahadaay and the district commissioner declined to give comment the incident.

This is not the first that Somali Soldiers engaged shootout against each other.
