Keep off parliament, group of 100 MPs tell government

A group of 100 MPs calling themselves the Salvation of the Lower House Committee have asked the government to keep off the affairs of the House as the political row over the motion against Speaker Mohamed Jawari escalates.

The MPs, according to Goobjoog News correspondent at the ongoing meeting in Villa Hargeisa have also pointed fingers at 1st deputy speaker Ibrahim Mudey accusing him of aligning himself with the proponents of the motion.

The meeting comes as stand-off between Mudey and Jawari allied faction including second deputy speaker Mahad Awad over dates for tabling the motion continues.
