Khat suspension enters its Second Day in Somalia

Kenyan Khat traders, the mild stimulant substance, have suspended yesterday to exports Miraa to Somalia due to an impasse over high prices and taxes they neglected by Somalia Miraa traders and the issue still remains unsolved.

The traders earlier said that the Somali government has imposed huge taxes on Miraa, and the Kenyan farmers who harvest it have illogically  increased the prices.
