Madobe lifts ban on FGS officials to Jubbaland

Members of the Jubbaland Cabinet held a meeting today, six days after the re-election of Jubbaland President Ahmed Mohamed Islam.

Jubbaland Council of Ministers chaired by Jubbaland President Ahmed Mohamed Islam has declared that they have lifted the ban from the Somali federal cabinets to visit the region

The Somali federal cabinets were banned to visit the region during the Jubbaland presidential elections.

The Somali government has stated that it doesn’t recognize the elections in Kismayo, including the selection of the Jubbaland Parliament and the re-election of Ahmed Madobe.

President Madobe promised to open the doors and had meetings with all people who oppose his administration to achieve diversity and reconciliation in Jubbaland state.
