Middle Shabelle Administration to Support Students from Poor Families

The government administration of Middle Shabelle has said that will financially support students from poor families who cannot afford to pay school fees.

Governor Ali Abdullahi Hussein has toured several schools in Jowhar town, the regional administrative city and made the comments after he realized that the dropout rate is high in some schools due to lack of fees by students from poor families.

“Education is a central pillar for recovery and development of this country, and we must give significant consideration” said the governor.

Since he took power, there are substantial gains in development in several sectors, including education, sports and social services.
