MP fault government leaders and MPs for attending Jubbaland Presidential Inauguration

MP Mohamud Ali Magan has accused the top federal government leaders of going against parliament decision by attending Jubbaland presidential inauguration.

He particularly singled out some 50 MPs who attended the ceremony despite the fact that the federal parliament has disbanded Jubbaland assembly which elected Ahmed Mohamed Islam, whose inauguration was held in Kismayo yesterday.

“It’s wrong for them to go there and congratulate Ahmed Madobe, you know what he did, and that his assembly that elected him is not recognized by the federal parliament” said the MP.

He also accused the international community for attending Jubbaland presidential inauguration “Neighboring countries sent top officials to Kismayo and so did the international community. This shows that they don’t want stability in Somalia” said the Mr. Magan who is outspoken about Jubbaland.
