Mudane: “I am still the legal Lower Shabelle deputy governor”

The former Lower Shabelle deputy governor of security affairs, Ahmed Mohamed Omar aka Mudane has returned home after he was taken to abroad for further treatment of serious injuries he sustained from explosion.
Mudane was sacked while he was in overseas for treatment.
A colourful ceremony to welcome him was held in Lower Shabelle in attendance with some of the administration officials and elders.
Mudane speaking at the ceremony underlined that he is still legal deputy governor.
“I was appointed by president of federal government and I only leave this office when I get presidential decree indicating to vacate the post” He said.
On other hand Goobjoog News contacted to Ali Noor who claims to be the current Lower Shabelle deputy governor of security affairs and that he was appointed by the ministry for interior.
Noor said that the government is only body assigns duties and that Mr. Mudane was once the deputy governor of region but the government sacked him.
“It is the government which appoints people for posts, It is the work of the interior ministry to reshuffle, sack and appoints civil servants and workers, Mr. Mudane was once appointed for this post same way someone else can be assigned to replace him” Noor told.
He added that he vacate the post whenever the interior minister appoint someone to replace him.
