New exodus of families from Janaale town

 A number of new families are running away from Janaale town in Lower Shabelle region following an expected resumption of intense fighting in the town.

Government forces and Alshabab fighters are normlly engaged in recurring battle in the area and the remaining families were forced to flee to safety areas in the past seven days.

The local residents fled to major towns including Mogadishu, Marka and Afgoy in order to be far away from the battle fields where heavy gunfire are normally exchanged by the fighting groups.
