NISA arrest Al-Shabaab member in Mogadishu

Somali security forces have on yesterday arrested Al-Shabaab member in a planned operation in the capital Mogadishu.

The National Intelligence Security Agency (NISA) has yesterday issued on a statement on their twitter stating that security forces have carried out a well-planned operation on 18th January 2019  and arrested a high official member of Al-Shabaab militants in Mogadishu.

Al-Shabab has been weakened as a military and political force since being driven out of the Somali capital Mogadishu by African Union forces.
