Norway to Recognize Somali Diplomatic Passport

The Norwegian government has announced that it has recognized the Somali diplomatic passport becoming the third EU country to recognize the Somali passport, Somali officials said.

The government of Norway is planning to send a group of international experts at the international level in order to assess both the service and the ordinary passports and to study the process of providing the Somali passports.

Director General of the Somali Immigration and Naturalization Agency, Mr Ahmed Adam Koofi has paid official visits to some European countries including Norway.

“British authorities and has asked foreign passports to travel passport when leaving the Somali Somalia and participating in international conferences.” Mr Koofi said.
