Partial security operations in Mogadishu

Security operations are being conducted today Thursday in some parts of the city where public vehicles and residents undergo a police road block and searched thoroughly.

The operations are prominently seen in the main crossroads of the town.

Local residents who spoke to Goobjoog News this morning mentioned the sight of government security officers stationed in the four ways of Bakara, a local famous market where cars and passengers are checked.

It is believed these operations are part of the recent broad security exercises codenamed “Stabilizing the City” by special government forces.
