President Farmaajo Arrives in Adaado Town
Somali federal president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has been warmly welcomed yesterday evening to Adado town, the interim capital of Galmudug State.
President Farmaajo was received by state and federal officials some who traveled to the town in advance to take part in the welcoming ceremony.
Present in the event were Galmudug State president Ahmed Duale Haaf, his deputy Mohamed Hashi Arabey, first deputy speaker of the Senate Abshir Mohamed Bukhari, Bandir governor Thabit Abdi Mohamed, top commanders of the Somali national army and other dignitaries.
The president who has entered his 9th day in his official tour in the central region is today expected to conduct a crucial meeting with the state leaders on reconciliation process. He will also address the local residents to pass his message of compromise where he termed his tour in the region as “peace trip”.
