President Muse Bihi welcomed the statement of president Farmajo to end the conflict in Tukuraq

The President of Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi, welcomed the statement from Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo of calling Somaliland and Puntland to end the conflict in Tukaraq.

Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo talked about the Tukaraq conflict between Somaliland and Puntland, calling on both sides to make peace and negotiate on his speech at Banadir stadium Mogadishu on 1st July the independence day of Somalia.

Farmajo said, “Somalia needs peace, no future fighting and violence, we would not accept more innocent young Somali boys to die in the Tukaraq war for nothing.”Said president Farmajo.

President Farmajo also talked about the relationship between the Somali Federal Government and Somaliland, saying his government is still ready to resume the talks with Somaliland.

President Bihi has received a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), president Bihi has also allowed the relatives to visit their prisoners who were arrested in the Tukuraq war.
