Presidential Spokesman : The main agenda for the IGAD summit is about Somali issues

The spokesman for the presidential palace, Da’uud Aweys told Goobjoog FM that the main agenda for the IGAD ministerial summit is about Somali issues including security, political reconciliation and other key issues

“All ministers who were intended to participate the meeting arrived Mogadishu on time” Mr. Aweys said.

Ministers are from all IGAD member states, namely Djibouti, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Uganda and South Sudan.

Four of IGAD countries which are attending the meeting ( Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti) contributed troops to AMISOM Peace Keeping Mission in Somalia
