Refugee returnees from Dadab in dire situation

Storyline:National News

Numerous problems have confronted the Somali refugees in Mogadishu especially those who returned from Dadab, Kenya according to their chairperson Fadumo Maadow Mahad Alle.

The immediate difficulties faced by the returnees include lack of proper shelter, health service, education and other necessities essential for a living human being.

The chairlady called attention to the unfulfilled bilateral agreement with the international refugee agency known as UNCHR, a pledge that was meant to provide them with a ‘safety net’ during their arrival in their motherland.

“We used to have education, health service, shelter and food where came from though we know that people don’t get everything they want” said the chairlady Fadumo.

Meanwhile Fadumo claims that some of the refuges that came from Dadab camp in Kenya have gone back when they missed the obligation to help them from Somali government and the unfulfilled pledge by the UNHCR.
