Saudi Arabia, Turkey condemn Sunday attack in Mogadishu

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey government have condemned the suicide attack in Mogadishu-Somalia yesterday that killed at least five people.

“We strongly condemn the treacherous attack in Mogadishu that aims to undermine the stability of Somalia,” said the turkey Foreign Ministry statement.

“We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, a speedy recovery to the wounded and convey our condolences to the government and the people of Somalia,”

At least five people, including three police officers, were killed and three others, injured on Sunday in a suicide car bomb blast in Mogadishu.

Also, an official source of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation and condemnation of the suicide car bombing that targeted a government office in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.

The source declared the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s absolute rejection of all forms of violence, terrorism and extremism whatever the motives and reasons.

The source extended condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and to the governments and of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
