SNA seize new villages against Al-Shabab in Lower Shabelle region

The Somali National Army took several villages including Darshanley, Bandar, Farkerow, 1st camp under Qoryoley district of Lower Shabelle and captured suspected youth in the region.

Somali National Army officials reported that Al-Shabab militia launched a destructive attack on a military base at Ceel Salini village in Lower Shabelle region.

According to Military Officials in the operation, Al-Shabab militia suffered heavy casualties following a deadly attack in the past few hours after government troops wrath their attack in Qoryoley district on Wednesday morning.

The Somali National Army backed with AMISOM and international partners have increased operations against Al-Shabab in recent times which lead Al-Shabab militant to lower their strength and tactical operations in lower Shabelle region.
