Somali chief justice: No result from criminal investigations in Somalia

Somali chief justices Aidayd Ilka-hanaf expalined why most criminal investigations in the country ends resultless.

“ The problem is regardless  of judicial system existence, every time a such big crimes take place we heard investigation is underway but we do not see the conclusions because we lack the knowledge of how to do it” said the chief justices.

He also stressed the need of training Somali justices system workers “  in my way back from Arusha I stopped in Nairobi to oversee a training promgram for Somali prosecutors and judges in Nairobi about how to deal  organized crimes including terrorism and money laundering schemes”

Somali judicial branch faces a number of challenges among others corruption and lack of professionalism.
