Somali Federal MPs Step up their impeachment motion against Somali president

Storyline:National News

A number of Somali Federal Parliament members had a meeting with some of western embassies, IGAD and International Community representatives to listen their respective concerns and answer specific question posed on the impeachment motion against Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud adopted by them (MPs).
Hosh Jibriel one of the parliamentarians who lodged the motion, has highlighted their seriousness on the impeachment issue saying “Well if the country is going to plunge into political instability then the president must be responsible on it… let he step down before he loses his presidential immunity”
Somali president and his supporters are in their side trying to succeed the fight in their side and at least so far made one MP to change his mind.
It’s highly unlikely that impeachment motion against president will meet its objectives, giving the fact that at least two third of Federal MPS are required to vote for it, but it’s already enough to cause political scandal for the president who only has less than one year left in his term.
