Somali government dispatches two ships to evacuate its citizens from Yemen

Federal parliament of Somalia which started its sixth session on Monday has decided to help Somali refugees in Yemen.
The speaker of parliament Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari has said they will send two ships to evacuate Somali citizens from trouble-torn middle-eastern country Yemen.
He did not mention when the ship will be dispatched.
Director of the Parliament Mohamed Iyow who gave exclusive interview to Goobjoog stated that the speaker of the parliament has managed the expense of evacuation till the parliamentarians pay the amount they pledged earlier.
More than 100,000 Somali citizens who most of them are refugees are trapped in Yemen violence.

While other foreign nationals have been evacuated from the impoverished gulf nation, the federal government has not yet moved to evacuate its citizens despite announcing plans to bring back them home.
Since 1st April, 2423 of Somali refugees started to return home by themselves with small boats. They accused the government of ‘’failing’’ to intervene the situation of the trapped citizens.
