Somali Government Warns Business People of Rough Sea Season

The Federal Ministry of Port and Marine Transport sent a stern warning to the Somali business people on the arrival of the rough storm season by the ocean.

The Director General of the Port and Marine Transportation Mohamed Osman Ali (Dhagaxtuur) who spoke to the media stated that the period for the sea to be inaccessible for transportation has arrived and warned the ships and small boats to stay away from the sea because of strong waves and winds.

“The ships loaded with less than 1500 and small boats cannot sail across the sea at this every year and the business people to adhere to this advice and shall not take lightly” Ali said.

A rough sea is shifting and turbulent, and makes people seasick and capsizes ships and boats.
