A Somali man has 3kg STONE tumour removed from his abdomen

A 60-year-old Somali man has had a two stone 3kg removed from his bladder.
Hussein Hurre Ahmed in the breakaway Somaliland, developed the tumour when he was a teenager and it grew steadily until it was removed.
“I don’t know the exact factor but in 1972 I fall off swiftly from vehicle i was travelling by then i was admitted to hospital where i was told that bladder has busted since then i was having the problems in abdomen but not as painful as recent months” hurre said.
He added “ I went hospital for check up and the doctors said that i have be operated to remove the Stone”
He was warned surgery would be risky but that without it the tumour would continue growing.
“I knew that surgery could endanger my life but what made me to not to think about the pain i passed through” he noted.
He went to Hargeisa General Hospital and the tumour was diagnosed as a benign soft tissue tumour through risky hours operation.
