Somali Parliament passes Telecommunication Bill

Parliamentary session by the Somali Federal Lower House today passed the Telecommunication Bill.

The session was presided over by the 1st Deputy Speaker Abdiweli Sh. Ibrahim Mudey was attended by 159 members.

The bill went through its 3rd Reading today and the ‘hands up’ voting system was conducted where 158 were aye while 1 vote was nay.

Meanwhile the Federal Minister for Post, Telecommunication and Technology Abdi Anshur Hassan addressed the House and passed his gratitude to the honroubale members for passing the crucial bill.
