Somali parliament speaker meet Puntland president Deni in Garowe

The Speaker of the Somali Parliament; Mohamed Mursal Sheikh Abdirahman who arrived Garowe yesterday evening with a delegation from the federal government met with the President of Puntland State of Somalia, Said Abdullahi Deni at the Puntland administrative capital of Garowe.

The two officials discussed the general situation of the country as well as the strengthening and co-operation of the Federal Government of Somalia and the regional administrations of the Federal Government.

President of Puntland State of Somalia; Said Abdullahi Deni praised the Speaker of the House, Mr Mohamed Mursal and his delegation’s visit to Puntland, saying that he is very happy.

Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Somali Parliament Mohamed Mursal Sheikh Abdirahman urged the people of Puntland and their leaders to focus on how to achieve greater progress.
