Somali Security forces raid Pirates in Mudug region, free abducted foreign citizen

Somali National Intelligence service raided early hours of Sunday morning  at house in Amara village of Mudug region and freed at least one foreign citizen who was abducted by Somali pirates two years ago in Somalia. Somali Government Confirms.

The identity of the freed person is said to be Kenyan citizen, who have been abducted in Somalia in Nov.2014.

Federal Intelligence Chief in Galmudug State, Sadiq Omar Hassan told Goobjoog News that they have freed the Citizen in early morning raid at Amara village after they tipped off by the locals. However, Sadiq said they give more details later on the nature of the raid and the identity of the foreign citizen.

The freed person is taken to Adado and is expected to be flied to Mogadishu later today.
