Somalia and Rwanda sign aviation agreement

The governments of Somalia and Rwanda have signed a bilateral aviation agreement that will boost bilateral development, and the agreement will strengthen the exchange of goods and services.

The agreement signed between the governments of Somalia and Rwanda was signed by the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Mohamed AbdullahiSalatOmaar and Rwanda’s Minister of Infrastructure ClaverGatete.

Minister Omar said that he welcomed the agreement and would be a step forward for the country, adding that trade between the two countries would be benefited by two citizens.

“We have signed bilateral civil aviation agreements with the Rwandan government today. The agreement opens for direct flights between the two countries, which will boost bilateral trade. I am accompanied by Minister ClaverGatete with the Director-General of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority Ahmed Moalim and his counterpart Silas Udahem, said, minister Omar.

The agreement will allow for direct flights between Somalia and Rwanda on the anther side, Economic development and business entrepreneurs would be another advantage.
