Somalia: Fears of rigging ahead of the southwest state presidential election

Barely a month before the southwest state presidential election, some presidential candidates have claimed that there are irregularities in the electoral system of the current administration and concerned about possible riggings of the votes.

Adan Mohamed Nur Saransoor, a presidential candidate of Southwest state told Goobjoog News, “that he is addressing a large number of issues regarding the upcoming presidential elections in Baidoa.”

Adan Saransoor added that he is so concerned about the current president of Southwest state Sharif Sheik Aden and the electoral system.

He also mentioned Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aadan didn’t bring any difference in the state during his period and that the people of the state need a real change.

Meanwhile, Adan Saransoor warned against any corruption during the presidential election of the South West state Somalia on November.
