Somalia Prime Minister lays foundation stone for Immigration Department Building

Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheire on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the building of Somalia’s immigration and Naturalisation Department in  Mogadishu’s Waberi district.

He described the project as one that will take part in strengthening the country’s institutions.

“It is good to see people get ready to rebuild their, I was informed that it will be the first time, Somali immigration department to have its own building, we thank to the Benadir administration for issuing to land for the department,” said Kheire.

Minister Hussein Abdi Duale was optimistic that the new building would be the best that the state has so far constructed after praising the marvellous work performed by staff at the department.

The breaking ground ceremony was attended by Somali minister for security, benadir Governor and senior Government officials.
