Somalia recalls ambassador to Switzerland

Somalia Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmed Isse Awad has today recalled the ambassador to Switzerland Fadumo Abdullahi Mohamud to come back to the country in one week time.

The reason behind the recalling of the Somalia ambassador to Switzerland was not clearly specified in the decree from the foreign minister’s office.

Switzerland supports the peace- and state-building process in Somalia and the creation of a functioning state. It is committed to good governance, rule-of-law principles and the protection and enforcement of human rights.
