Somalia Resists Plans for Kenyan Border Wall

Somali president Hassan Sheik Mohamoud has told parliament that Kenyan border wall is unacceptable and would everything to stop.

He said such plans are against international laws and go against the wishes of Somalia.

Kenya has announced plans to construct a wall on the Kenya-Somalia border to deter militants from entering Kenya.

President’s comments came at a time when Kenya has said there is a new agreement with Somalia to settle another border dispute out of International Court, which Somalia has filed a law suit.
