Somalia: Second Day of Fighting Rages in Beledweyn Town

Fresh fighting between two tribal militias has broken out in Beledweyn town in Hiran region this Saturday morning.

The fighting started a day before at Hawlwadaag saburb and now seems to be spreading into new Areas outskirts of Beledweyn town

At least 14 people from both warring sides got injuries according to the director Baladwein general hospital, Ahmed Khaliif.

There are ongoing efforts to ease the tension and hostilities between the two clan militias which is spearheaded by the administration of Hiraan region and other elders from Baladwein town
