Somaliland president makes cabinet reshuffle ahead of elections

Somalia’s break away enclave of Somaliland president Ahmed Silanyo on Sunday made his cabinet reshuffle ahead of general elections expected to take place this year.

The president appointed new faces and annulled other key political figures.

Silanyo issued a presidential directive #JSL/M/XERM/249-3830/022016in which he appointed deputy ministers, state ministers and managing director and new governor. Appointing new ministers at same relieving others of their duties with immediate effect.
