Somaliland to Free Seized Weapon-Laden Vessel

According to a press release from Somaliland Presidency, the authorities in the semi autonomous secessionist state of Somaliland will set a free a ship that was held for carrying and transporting illegal weaponry.

This came after diplomatic talks between Somaliland and Sudan which the ship originated from.

The ship will carry on its journey to the originally intended destination which is United Arab Emirate.

Somali is under United Nations arms embargo which is partially lifted, and this ship could have serious ramifications to that effect.
