Somaliland’s oppositions express their concern over general election

The breakaway Somaliland’s opposition parties have expressed their concern over the government of President Ahmed Mohamed Siilaanyo to extend its term and postpone the upcoming elections.
The oppositions underlined that they will not accept any request forwarded by the government to extend its terms and called upon president Siilaanyo held the elections on time.
“We tell the government of Siilaanyo not to look for Shortcut way to lengthen its term” Said one of the leaders Wadani Party in Hargeisa.
These parties accused the government delaying the registration of voters and denying to clear the way for free and fair election.
The government for its side distance these accusations of the oppositions and said that the process to hold the elections is underway, therefore there is worry and accuses before the right time scheduled for election reached.
The elections of Somaliland are scheduled to hold on June this year.
