All of these were exclusively done for the local farmers who under come the state agricultural ministry. Notable among them is a UN organization called FAO that is supported by world donors” said Minister Fiqi.

He mentioned of an earlier meeting held in Nairobi between his ministry and the UN international organization FAO.

“Before there was a prior meeting we had with FAO in Nairobi, Kenya for 3 consecutive days where we deliberated on how my ministry, local organizations and FAO can work together which resulted for us to be the flag bearers leading to the facilitation for such a big meeting to take place today” added Minister Fiqi.

Minister Fiqi was unconcealed of expressing his official stand on the shortcomings done by these organizations. “We shared with them our stand on their weakness.”

Present also in the meeting were state ministries of fishery and veterinary who according to the minister Fiqi are also major partners in the farming program in the state.
