Teacher shot dead in Beletweyne, two people injured in grenade attack in a mosque in Mogadishu

A teacher was Monday evening shot dead at a check point in Beletweyne, central Somalia, source say.

Sources have told Goobjoog News the teacher was killed after his car was shot at immediately it drove past a check point manned by government troops. The teacher was likely killed by one of the soldiers, the source said.

Meanwhile two people sustained injuries after unknown assailants hurled a grenade at a mosque in Waberi district in Mogadishu.
