Teashop blast wounds four in Daynuunay locality

At least four people including three Somali government soldiers sustained injuries after bomb went off inside a tearoom yesterday evening at Daynuunay location which lies 25km away from Baidoa town, witness said.

Several SNA soldiers and civilians were having tea inside at the time of the explosion.

Resident in the area told Goobjoog News that the explosion was caused by a bomb rubbed in paper bag that placed inside the teashop.

Reports say that the target was Somali government soldiers who were reportedly chatting and having tea and coffee with the locals near the tearoom.

The government forces have this morning launched security operations in Daynuunay locality where they conduct door to door inspection.
