Al-Shabaab fighters have shut down all communication lines of several towns southern Somalia as the group intensified its attacks in Somalia, residents said.
The group’s fighters stormed Hormuud Telecom’s main building in the town of Jilib in Middle Jubba region and ordered a cut off of communication throughout the region.
