Three soldiers and a civilian perish in landmine blast

Three Somali soldiers and one civilian were killed this afternoon after a military truck hit a landmine in the outskirts of Mogadishu.

Police sources and eye witnesses told Goobjoog News the military truck drove into a landmine suspected to have been planted on the middle of the road along in Waydow area.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility but the militant group Al-Shabaab has carried out such several attacks against Somalia and African Union forces in the past.
