Uhuru among those scheduled to attend the inauguration of president Farmaajo

President Uhuru Kenyatta is among several Heads of State and Government scheduled to attend the inauguration of the elected Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo.

Uhuru who has been invited to the inauguration ceremony of new President Farmajo is expected to arrive in Mogadishu Soon.

Uhuru last visited Somalia in September 2016 during the 28th IGAD Extra-Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government.

Besides Kenyatta, the other Heads of State and Government listed as guests at the inauguration ceremony include the prime minister of Ethiopia, Hailemariam Desalegn and Djibouti President, Ismail Omar Guelleg.
