UN Envoy reaches Baidoa town

A delegation led by UN Special Representative for Somalia, Nicholas Kay reached Baidoa town, the capital administrative of South-West State.
The delegation was warmly welcomed at the airport by some South-West State and MPs.
Kay and his delegation were escorted to south-West presidential palace.
Kay is expected take meeting with South-west leaders to discuss security issues and the causalities of Thursday’s attack on presidential palace of South-West which carried out by Al-Shabab.
It was 7th march this when Nicholas Kay visited Kismayo town to have discussion with IJA leaders.
