Warfare in Xaradheere, Mudug Region

Reports from Xaradheere district of Mudug region, says that there is ongoing fighting between al-Shabaab and the local residents.

The fighting began as reported after al-Shabaab attacked the town early in the morning.

According to the people in Harardhere, Al-Shabaab members asked for youths in the region to join Al-Shabaab and fight with them but they were denied by the people in the region.

Until now, no casualties have been

. reported in the fighting, but heavy fires are heard in Harardere area.
