We shall implement technical schools for economic development says President Farmaajo

Federal government of Somalia will revive technical institutions across the country to stimulate economic developments in urban and rural areas so that citizens can be involved in the technical field.

Addressing the locals in Guri’el town, Galgadud region, President Farmajo who is in the region on official tour noted that these educational institutions will spur developments and self reliance by the country and the people by exploiting local resources rather than waiting for the outside world to offer assistance or exporting basic merchandises.

“As the federal government, we will provide you with all the necessary services you need putting more efforts on technical schools so that every major towns or locations will be self sufficient to lessen dependency on the outside world” President Farmajo said.

The president also pledged the local residents that government will carry out the necessary community services in the district.

President Farmaajo who is currently in Guri’el town is expected to travel across some more locations in Galmudug State in central Somalia.
