congratulation ceremony for Erdogan’s victory held in Mogadishu

A colourful ceremony to welcome the victory and the success of the new president of Turkey Racep Dayip Erdogan during the presidential elections was held in Mogadishu.
The ceremony organized by the ministry of women affairs and human rights was attended by minister for women affairs Khadija Mohamed Diriye, foreign affairs minister Abdirhman Duale Beilah, and  members of federal parliament and civil society.
The participants equally supported and praised Mr. Erdogan, Sahro Omar Moalim speaking on behalf of civil society underlined that Somalis will not forget the support Turkish government has provided to Somali people during 2011 famine.
Khadija Mohamed Diriye, women affairs minister congratulated the landslide victory of Erdogan adding that his victory will strengthen the ties between the two nations.
Foreign affairs minister Mr. Beilah appreciated the support of Turkish government to Somali people and urged the public to support the government so as to overcome the challenges the federal government face.
