The security of all government institutions should be handed over to Somali forces : Jubbaland president

President of Interim Jubba Administration Ahmad Mohamed Madobe condemned the twin suicide attacks that killed 32 people and wounded more than 60 in Baidao on Sunday.

President Ahmed  advised the federal government of Somalia to transfer the security of all government institutions including Villa Somalia to the Somali security forces rather than African Peace-Keeping Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) troops.

‘ Let’s Somali security be in charge of villa Somalia and other sensitive places, so that Somali leaders will learn about the importance of the security’

‘we spend a lot of money in security, thousands of foreign peace keeping troops are here and security remains same. We need to make change, train and prepare Somali military forces to be in charge of the national security’ said Madoobe.

He said Al-Shabab fighters have frequently shed the blood of Somali innocent civilians.

“Alshabab are merciless enemies and they should be regard as such. Let’s forget clan politics and talk how safe the country’ said President Madoobe.
