A Delegate of ministers reach Bulo-Burte

Federal government delegates led by deputy prime minister and minister for religious affairs Ridwan Hersi Mohamed reached Bulo-Burte district on Thursday.

The aim of the officials’ visit is to assess the humanitarian crisis in the district and nearby areas.

The government officials that accompany the deputy Prime minister include foreign affairs, transport and civil aviation ministers and Djiboutian ambassador to Somalia. The officials received warm welcome from the administration of Bulo-Burte.

This visit comes a time when trucks transporting food aid donated by the government of Djibouti meant to support the people affected by the drought reached the district.

Meanwhile the ministers are expected to meet the local leaders and civil society in the district.
