Al-Shabaab, ISIS clash in Al-Miskaad mountain in Bari region

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BARI: Reports from Puntland’s Bari region say that ISIS and Al-Shabaab fighters have clashed in Al-Miskaad mountains resulting in casualties from both sides.

According to locals, the fighting reportedly took place yesterday after militias from both sides met in a ravine resulting in a fierce shoot-out.

The two groups have bases in the mountains of the Bari region and have repeatedly attacked  Puntland forces while seeking to take control of areas under the Puntland administration.
